BLISS
BELIEFS
ONE
TRUE
GOD
God has revealed Himself as a Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one God, three parts. (Eph 4:4-6)
SALVATION
OF
MAN
Man's only hope of being set free from the power of sin is through faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. (John 14:6, John 3:16, Rom 6:23)
HOLY
SPIRIT
With the baptism of the Holy Spirit comes power and gifts for life and service. (Matt 3:11, 1 Cor 14)
CREATION
OF
MAN
God created man in His image so that we could have relationship with Him, but through our sin, separation caused that relationship to break. (Gen 1:26, Gen 3)
CHURCH
ORDER
Jesus is head of the Church. God has given pastors, teachers, apostles, evangelists, and prophets to oversee the church or body of Christ. (Col 1:18, Eph 4:11, 12)
DIVINE
HEALING
Through Jesus we have access to healing for our bodies and souls. (Isaiah 53:5, Psalm 41:3, Matt 4:23, Acts 4:30)
BIBLE
IS
INSPIRED
The Word of God is comprised of many authors who were all led by God to write an authoritative account of His love letter to the world. (2 Tim 3:16)
WATER
BAPTISM
Baptism by immersion in water is commanded in the Scriptures as a public symbol of identifying with the body of Christ. (1 Pet 3:21, Acts 22:16)
SECOND
COMING
Jesus has promised that He is coming back for His bride (the church) and He will be taking us home with Him. (John 14:3, Heb 9:28, 2 Pet 3:10)
MARRIAGE
JESUS
IS
LORD
Jesus is fully man, but He is also fully God, leading a sinless life, and showing the world the heart of the Father though His example and His teachings. (John 1:4, Col 1:19, Phil 2:7)
THE
LORD'S
SUPPER
Otherwise known as communion, it is the act of remembering the sacrifice of Jesus by partaking the symbolic substitutes of His body and blood. (1 Cor 11:26, Luke 22:19,20)
FINAL
JUDGMENT
We will all one day give an account to God for the life we have lived and the choices we made. (Rev 22:12, Heb 9:27, 2 Cor 5:10)
Biblical marriage is between one man and one woman,
in a holy covenant before God, for life.
Sexual intimacy is only permitted within the marriage covenant.
(Matt 19:4-6, 1 Cor 7:2)
