Life has been an amazing adventure! I left home at 17 to attend Christ for the Nations, where I met Connie in 1976, got married a year later, and left immediately for England to establish a Bible School with a former professor.
Now, 40 years later, with a number of careers under my belt, lots of world-travel, a Bachelors in Communications, and much needed experience in and out of church, I'm pursuing my dream: leading an amazing group of loving, dedicated, genuine, and accepting people in a fantastic and growing community as well as running a critically acclaimed coffee bar and cafe.
I've been a missionary, a worship leader, a youth pastor, a children's pastor, and ministry administrator. One thing I love is sharing truth: truth about God, the people He made, and truth about the world around us. I've been here full-time serving the Lighthouse since 2000.
We try to keep things pretty simple around here. We stress both character and gifting. We will love you through any situation you may be going through.
Connie and I have two married children, Paul and Rachel, and two grandchildren. They have taught me a lot about life and about God's love for us. I've spiritually "adopted" many others as well. Some have moved on, and others have settled here.
Our passion is to see men and women grow into their full potential. I'm on the journey myself, and I invite you to join me and other caring people at the Lighthouse.

We believe wholeheartedly that God wants wants to use young people to make a difference in their community. This is why we believe God has given us a passion for children to experience God’s presence in their life so that they can be effective witnesses in both their school and their homes.
